Haq Mehr Application Format

A Haq Mehr Application is a written request filed before the Family Court during an ongoing Haq Mehr recovery case seeking interim relief, production of documents, attachment of assets, recovery of admitted amounts, early hearing, or other orders connected with a dower claim.

Unlike a Haq Mehr Petition, which initiates the recovery proceedings, an application is generally filed after the case has already been instituted and a specific direction from the Court is required.

These applications are commonly filed in cases involving Prompt Dower (Mu'ajjal), Deferred Dower (Muwajjal), disputed Nikah Nama entries, or recovery of unpaid Haq Mehr after divorce, Khula, or marital separation.

Application For Interim Payment Of Admitted Haq Mehr

Where part of the Haq Mehr is admitted by the husband, the wife may seek immediate payment of the undisputed amount.

It is respectfully submitted that the respondent has admitted liability regarding a portion of the Haq Mehr amount.

It is therefore prayed that the admitted amount may kindly be directed to be paid during the pendency of the proceedings.

Application For Production Of Original Nikah Nama

Disputes frequently arise regarding entries recorded in the Nikah Nama.

It is respectfully submitted that the original Nikah Nama is necessary for proper adjudication of the dispute.
