Data Deletion Instructions

Send an email to contact@malhilegal.com with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. Include enough information for us to identify your record.

• Your full name.
• Your phone number or email used on the website.
• The service involved, such as consultation, lawyer account, client account, petition, LMS course, verification lookup, or contact form.
• A short statement saying which data you want deleted.

Before deleting data, we may ask you to verify your identity or prove that you control the relevant email, phone number, account, lawyer profile, or submission.

This protects users from unauthorized deletion requests and impersonation.

Depending on the record type, we may delete or anonymize account profile data, contact form submissions, optional uploads, public comments, petition creator information, inactive user data, or app-related user data.

For public lawyer profiles, reviews, petitions, comments, case records, or course records, deletion may require review because those records may affect other users, legal compliance, evidence, payments, moderation, or professional verification.

Some records may be retained where legally, professionally, technically, or commercially necessary.

• Legal service, consultation, case, dispute, audit, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, and compliance records.
• Backups and security logs until they expire in ordinary backup cycles.
• Records needed to prevent impersonation, duplicate abuse, unauthorized access, spam, or platform misuse.
• Public legal content, petitions, reviews, or lawyer verification records where removal would affect platform integrity or third-party rights.

We aim to review deletion requests within a reasonable time after receiving enough information to identify and verify the request.

If a request is complex, legally restricted, or connected with active legal services, disputes, payments, or public records, we may need more time or may be unable to delete the record immediately.

If you used a third-party login or app integration, you may also need to remove Malhi Law Associates access from that third-party account settings page.

After receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize app-related user data held in our own systems unless retention is required.
